If you are considering and online business, here are several reasons why this may be a wise choice. First of all internet marketing can be a lucrative business if you approach it as a real business and dedicate real time to achieve different levels of knowledge. I say this because in my experience as a new affiliate marketer, “newbie”, I had to learn one thing at a time and in the span of several weeks I noticed how far I had gone in my quest for knowledge. With internet marketing you can involve your friends, and encourage them to join you in the network marketing business. The more you’re able to reach out to others and get them to become involved, the more successful you’ll be. Now, I will tell you if you are too pushy with friends and relatives to join you, they may think that you are benefiting from them joining. Basically you are, but they are also if they are serious about the business. Myself I do not think that I joined and started my business because someone was going to benefit. I started my affiliate business because I want to live the dream and I can say that I am on my way. Here are some other reasons why network marketing might be a good fit for you:

-A low start-up cost: Mosty types of business opportunities have high start up costs. Network marketing has a relatively low start-up cost. You can sign up as an affiliate for free and even get a web site for free. Do remember, you must invest in your business…But once again, the start up cost are very low and it could open the door to a very prosperous business.

-The availability of training: The majority of today’s network marketing companies offer extensive training to their new recruits. So, even if you have no prior experience, it’s easy to get the advice you need and the knowledge that will help you feel like a well-equipped businessperson. There are forums and different sites that can help you out in your quest for knowledge. After all, when you have a full understanding of the inner workings of the business, it’s easier to explain great reasons why your friends and family should join in, too.

-You can work from anywhere: One of the biggest benefits of network marketing and affiliate marketing is that you can do it from almost anywhere. As long as you have a computer and and internet connection you are good to go. If you enjoy working on the computer, you can choose to do a lot of your marketing and recruiting efforts online.

-Set your own hours: Finally, many people who are involved in network marketing love how it allows them to set whatever hours are most convenient. You’re no longer locked into working whatever schedule is set by your employer. When you work, and how much you work, is all up to you to decide. Of course, keep in mind that like any sort of work, what you put into it is usually related to how much you’ll get out of it. Don’t expect to see instant success if you’re only working an hour a week. Only take on what you can handle, but when you do work, put all your effort into it.

Internet marketing is not for everyone. I have read statistics stating that 98% of the people who try internet marketing fail and 2% succeed. In order to be in the prosperous 2% it is necessary to treat it as a real job and work hard. Once established you are good to go, but for some reason it just inspires me to work more. Review the pros and cons and you decide.
