Being one of a few silver coins featuring a new design each year of issue. The Australian Kookaburra has a very limited production with the annual changes by the Perth Mint, this has caused the Australian Kookaburra to become one extremely sought after silver coin.

A stunning “reverse-proof”, deep cameo finish, this 1993 reverse being designed by John Bergdahl and Alex Lumsden. It shows a mother kookaburra bringing a lizard to her nest to feed the always hungry chicks.

Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll of England, is featured on the obverse in an ionic portrait. This was created by artist Raphael Maklouf.

With a frosted white background, the images are rendered in a mirror like finish, causing them to gather light beautifully.

Being very hard to find in MS70 condition, the 1993 pure silver Kookaburra is an extremely sought after coin by numismatist allover the world.

Weighing 31.135 grams, with a diameter of 40.60 mm, having a thickness of 4.00 mm and a purity of .999 fine silver, makes this a truly collectible coin by every-ones standards.
