An announcement has been made by The Royal Canadian Mint that the first of a new limited edition special series of Canadian wildlife silver coins. These coins will be enjoyed by an unprecedented amount of people throughout the entire world because of popular demand. These coins will be in high demand with collectors and bullion buyers worldwide. These coins dated 2011 have a 1 million maximum mintage of making them 30 times more rare than an American silver eagle.

The first coin of the series is, one ounce of .9999 pure silver MS70 grade, featuring an absolutely stunningly detailed engraving of a single timber wolf checking out their domain. This fierce predator is beautiful and is posing on a snow covered slope with many snow-capped pines around him, while the full moon overhead distinguishes this distinctly Canadian landscape.

The first coin in a 3 year series will be, The Canadian Timber Wolf, leads the Canadian Wildlife 6 coin series. The Ottawa facility of the Royal Canadian Mint will be producing two annual issues through 2014. Wolves are actually a popular subject because of their freedom, pride and beauty, and this is the reason, this coin has been picked as the lead off coin in this special wildlife series limited edition. The Royal Canadian Mint has established a strict and low mintage on these specific coins and so the next issue in this series is to be released in March 2011.
