How To Get Rid Of Stress Before It Starts

How To Get Rid Of Stress Before It Begins

Stress is the leading cause of many ailments in today’s busy world. Often times we are under a great deal of stress, but don’t realize it until it manifests itself in the form of high blood pressure, headaches, or worse. It can be helpful to have a quit trick handy to defeat stress before it starts.

This is dandy if you are a self employed billionaire and can do whatever you want, but chances are you aren’t. Most of us are just struggling to make ends meet, and have to put up with a lot of aggravation without much choice due to our current situation. What do we do in that situation?

First, it’s important to realize that we don’t ever absolutely have to do something. If you think of terms of doing something because you have to, it can become incredibly stressful. It can help to imagine the ultimate benefit you are going to receive for whatever it is you are doing. You have to withstand the daily rant of your boss so you can get a pocketful of money on Friday. You have to suffer through a long drive every day so you can afford to live where you live. When you train to think in terms of actions and benefits, you start to gain more power over your situation. We aren’t slaves captured and whipped until we drop. We make our choices, we choose our actions, and we have to learn to live with them.

Another idea that can help is that of expectation. When we are filled with expectations, these are translated into “shoulds” of how other people ought to behave, or what we “should” receive. But when we base our expectations only on our experience, and not on some imagined idea of how people should behave in an ideal world, we won’t be disappointed. It also helps to keep this “realistic expectation” as neutral as possible. Don’t expect free candy from everybody you see, but don’t expect that everybody will steal your wallet given half the chance.

One powerful way to build in this positive expectation is to negotiate everything before hand. When your boss gives you a task at work, be very clear what he or she is asking you to do, and get as much clarification as possible. Or when negotiate with yourself before you leave for work in the morning. Decide what time you’ll get there if traffic is light, and what time you’ll get there if traffic is heavy, and how you’ll react either way. That way you won’t be surprised either way.

The largest creator of stress is the feeling that we are not in control and at the mercy of our environment. If we don’t expect anything in particular, or we don’t have a list in our heads of how others should behave, then we won’t be disappointed, and our stress will naturally decrease.

Online Printing Services and Other Ways to Write a Book

Chances are if you are a writer, you’ve been wanting to write a book for a long time. There are many ways to write a book. As the publishing industry has recently begun to change there is even more demand for popular fiction and non-fiction. Everyone has stories, but being able to put them on paper is a horse of a different color than just telling them at parties or talking about the book you should write. Follow this guide to gain inspiration and drive in realizing your dream.

1. The MFA: An increasingly popular way to gain structure and insight into the criticism of your work, this degree can be obtained all over the country, and is a great way to get into publishing and book binding services circles. The downside: mmm, 50k of debt.

2. The Outline: I once heard that writing a book is like building a snowflake. You start out with a triangle, or the plot equivalent. Then, you continue to edit and build more triangles until the book emerges, looking completely unique.

3. Editing: You must edit. This is more important than the writing, because when you have time to write and become more experienced, you re-read and find missing commas, and other grammatical snags that easily trip a reader. In turn, this will make you a better writer. When you re-read, ask yourself:

-Is this entertaining? Is the plot working?

-Do we know the main character? Can we sympathize with or desire to be him or her? Does he or she change during the book?

-Is every word necessary? Does every scene matter? Can you cut anything without injuring the story? If so, do.

-Is there tension? Do you build to the climax?

-Is it as good as it can be?

4. Patience: A writer must know patience, or learn it through the writing process. There are different ways of beginning and ending, and you will always be working on something: a scene chapter or sentence. If you finish writing, or reach a point where you want to absorb what you’ve written, go back and edit.

5. Table of Contents: Organizing your book into chapters, or smaller sub-books is a good idea, and it will help you appeal to more people who want to read it.

6. Responses: You probably want to submit it to publishers, literary agents, or friends and family if you want to self publish with online printing services or book binding services.

If you can write it, people will read it. Be confident that what you are doing is right, and don’t feel bad about the doubt, all writers have it. Keep writing, keep editing, and keep reading. Find inspiration wherever you can, and whatever you do, write it. Once it is written, publishing it or binding books is easy. Hang in there, and don’t despair. You may have a couple of years of hard work ahead of you, but what a journey it will be.

How Conversational Hypnosis Attracts People to You
Copyright © 2010 Nick Clipton

If you feel that you need to have more friends but don’t know how to attract people to you, then you may want to give the basic points of conversational hypnosis a try. This doesn’t mean, however, that you will have the power of making people fall in love with you or do anything that you want; it just means that you have the means of convincing people to do things without being controversial!

Hypnosis can never control a person fully; however, it can appeal to their subconscious mind to agree to something they already have feelings about. You can never sway a person to do something against their will, since a single rational question like, “What am I doing?” will snap them out of their hypnotic trance.

And since you cannot control minds, it also follows that they won’t agree with you every single time. You’ll have a better chance of convincing them if they share even just a shred of your convictions but even then, it’s not foolproof.

It starts with acknowledging what they have to say. An out-and-out negation of anyone’s thoughts or opinions puts their rational mind on guard duty and you won’t have a chance of appealing to their subconscious. But if you agree, then their reasoning is at rest because you don’t present a threat.

Note that acknowledging the fact they spoke isn’t the same as acknowledging their opinions. For example, “Yes, I hear what you’re saying and …” Did you agree to an opinion? No, you didn’t.

The magic hook there is the word “and.” This allows you to insert your opinion and steer the conversation to where you want it. Follow up the first part of the sentence with, “and I feel that approaching the problem from this point would be a good solution.” You’ve just planted a seed in the person’s subconscious.

Then you can start off the hypnotic trance by putting their subconscious into overdrive by starting a mental movie, somewhat like a daydream which in itself is a mild hypnotic trance. It can start with any type of question but the most common is “How would you feel …?”

So, I can hear you thinking that this is impossible and I want to assure you that it just takes constant practice and nothing more. How would you feel if you could persuade more people to think the same way you do?

Are You Are You Blaming Your Past For Your Current Situation

Stop Blaming Your Past For Your Current Situation

Many people take an unpleasant situation and let it rule the way they look at life. The company downsizes and you were one that was cut. Your spouse cheats and leaves you. Someone you thought to be a dear friend turns out to be not such a true friend. When these things happen many spend their time blaming the other person for having done wrong to them.

“If my boss hadn’t fired me I wouldn’t have lost my house.” “If my friend hadn’t turned out to be such a terrible person I wouldn’t be so depressed.” If my spouse hadn’t cheated I would not be so lonely.”

Instead of looking at the situation as a turning point in their lives, people tend to use it as a pity party on themselves. I will not belittle the pain. The pain you feel is real and it is expected. But the point is that you can decide to rise above the situation.

Instead of deciding to focus on what went wrong and the loss, decide to focus on where the road ahead will lead you. Maybe you’ve lost your job and finances were tight to begin with and you don’t know which direction to turn. Was that your dream job? Was that your dream boss? Is there something that you’ve always wanted to do with your life, but were too busy working that job to go after your dreams?

Maybe there’s a person that needed your attention that you would have never noticed if that friend hadn’t let you down. And maybe that friend didn’t intend to hurt you. There are times in people’s lives where they see no other way. They may be suffering on the inside and you don’t know it.

People don’t always do things to hurt us, as we often think. There are times when people need to do things to help themselves, but never intend or want to hurt someone else. Step back and take a look at the situation. You may never figure it out, but at least give them the benefit of the doubt that there is something that maybe you don’t even know that they are suffering from themselves.

Divorce is a difficult situation all its own. You can spend your life trying to figure out what went wrong or why you were hurt or you can decide to get back up and live again. You can decide to spend your time blaming the other person for a bad marriage or you can decide to rise above it and find a new direction in life.

Maybe there is a dream career you didn’t go after because you had no need to work. Maybe there’s a person out there that you’ve never met that’s been waiting on you their whole life and everything will line up and you’ll find you’ve never been so happy.

The point is if we spend too much time living in the past and blaming the situations that have ‘done us wrong,’ we may miss the future we secretly long for. Close the doors to the past and walk forward. Open your eyes and your heart to what life has to hold for you today.

You’ve been given a chance to open yourself up to what life has to offer you. Decide to forgive, to release yourself from the pain and to move forward in life. Go after the life you deserve, the life that’s waiting for you to live it.

Buy Coins At The Pawn Shop Or Numis Network!

Buy And Sell Coins At The Pawn Shop Or Numis Network!

This is a common question asked by many people. A pawn shop is not a high end purchaser or seller. They buy at a price so they can sell at a discount and still make a profit. They buy or pawn mostly used merchandise. Gold and silver being a good part of there business. Numis Network on the other hand sells MS70 grade gold and silver collectible coins. These are true assets that will never lose there value. There is really no comparison between the two businesses other than the name gold and silver.

Take an MS70 graded coin into a pawn shop and ask what they will give you for it. You have just paid $100.00 for it from Numis Network. They will offer you between $50.00 and $75.00 for it. A lot of pawn shops sell there merchandise on Ebay. This is where they will look it up for current pricing. They see it is selling between $100.00-$150.00 so they figure a $100.00 value to them. They subtract there profit and offer you the difference. They are not ripping you of they are making a living.

Next you ask the pawn dealer how much he will sell you a MS70 graded silver coin for. He will call a reputable coin dealer and get a price ad a profit and shipping and sell you a coin for between $125.00 and $150.00. He does not buy in volume, therefore not a very good price. Pawn shops are not ripping there customers of they are a low volume, high markup business. A good pawn shop will have about a 5-10% loss on non sell-able merchandise.

The local coin dealer will probably give a little better pricing but they will be very similar in the end to a pawn shop. Mostly because of volume, pricing will not be good. These shops do deal mostly in money but there turnover is small in comparison. Also you have to know who you are dealing with. A lot of the dealers are pretty slick so be careful.

On the other hand Numis Network is the only network marketing company dealing in MS70 grade silver and gold coins. They only buy in tremendous bulk direct from government mints. These 1oz silver coins are sold as a monthly auto-ship for $100.00, at the time of this writing, or on an individual basis. As these assets are collected why would you want to get rid of them anyhow. Some people actually resell them on Ebay. If you do need to sell them a large coin dealer would give you a fair price. The value is directly related to the price of the metal and the condition and rarity. On average one coin every 10yrs will have a big increase in collector value.

The Numis Network owners have studied this business thoroughly and know what they are doing. They have formed teams of executives that work together in mastermind groups and extensive training programs. They are unique in all aspects of the network marketing industry. The leadership skills are in the top of the industry.

How To Tell If Someone Is Lying To You

How To Tell If He Or She Is Lying To You

Having the ability to tell when somebody is lying is a fantastic skill to have. Some are just naturals at this, but believe it or not, it is a relatively simple skill set to learn. In fact, it is so simple, that by the time you finish reading this article, nobody will ever be able to lie to you again. There are some general ways to tell, and some person specific ways to tell.

The general specific ways are various, and vague. If you can, it helps to look for three or four different indications before you accuse the person of lying outright, or decide not to take them at their word.

Face Touching

When people touch any part of their face while speaking, it can be an indication that they are lying. Usually they will touch their eyes, their nose, or their lips. These are usually rapid, subconscious movements. Be careful, though, as this may also be an indication that they are simply nervous. Another indication of lying is excessive blinking. In general, folks tend to blink more frequently. This happens when they are in a situation where repeated eye touching would be inappropriate. A politician giving a speech, or testifying under oath, for example.

Legs And Arm Crossing

When people cross their legs and their arms, it can be taken as a sign of being defensive. Especially if they are standing, with their legs cross near the ankle, and their arms crossed in front of them. This can be an indication of lying, or it could mean that they find what they are saying extremely distasteful. You’ll need to take the context into consideration.

Eye Contact

When people lie, it is very hard to look somebody else in the eye and keep a straight face, so to speak. In this case, a straight face is when all their facial muscles are relaxed, and not twitching. The best liars can maintain eye contact while speaking right up to the point of lying, and then even they will have to look away briefly.

Calibration

This where you calibrate on an individual basis. This can be done with employees, spouses, children, anybody who you are in a relationship with that you fear may lie in the future. Just pay keen focus on any particular facial movements or body language they show when you are certain they are lying.

Naturally, this mean that you let a few lies slide, but this is a small price to pay for being able to read them like a book. Tells are unconscious body movements and facial tics that card players exhibit when they are bluffing. Once you have three or four “tells” collected, they’ll never be able to lie to you again without you knowing it.

Three Steps For Createing Irresistible Charisma

Three Steps To Create Irresistible Charisma

Have you ever been at a social gathering, when somebody walked into the place and just immediately grabbed everybody’s attention, simply by walking in the place? It was just something about them, they had some kind of magnetic attraction that just pulled everybody’s attention. How would you like to be that person? Believe it or not, it’s easier than you think.

Most people think of charisma as some magical property that people have to be born with. The truth is, charisma is nothing short of a collection of specific behaviors. It’ just that some people have these behaviors naturally, while others have to work at it, Luckily, there’s three ways you can drastically improve your charisma.

1) Slow Movements And Speech

People that are jumpy and nervous aren’t charismatic. People with charisma walk slowly, and speak slowly. Not so slow as to make you fall asleep, but they are definitely not rushed. This is the quiet confidence that speaks much more loudly than hyper active jumping up and down on stage charisma. Also when speaking, people with charisma always pause in certain spots to build up response potential in their listeners.

2) Not Needy Or Dependent On The Responses From Others.

There’s the kind of people that pause immediately after every point or joke to look around to make sure they are getting consistent approval from the crowd. People with charisma are confident in their ideas and opinions, and don’t need to persuade others, and don’t need to get approval. They simply state the way they feel, and leave it at that.

3) Absolutely Congruent

Charismatic people are completely congruent in their model of the world. Their body language, facial expressions, and words all match up. They never say something when they mean something else. They rarely go along with the crowd simply for going along with the crowd. They are genuine in their emotions and their feelings. They never pretend.

Ok, so how do you manifest these behaviors in your own life? Simple. Fake it until you make it. It is a stunning aspect of the human physiological system that form follows function as well as function following form. If you are happy, you smile. But if you smile, you also will become happy. Your body follows your brain just as much as your brain follows your body.

As you try these behaviors on, little by little, they will soon become who you are. It will be you that they all look at when you enter a room or party.

How To Build a List Using Facebook

August 30, 2010 by admin

How To Build a List With Facebook

Take your conversations off of Facebook by inviting your contact list to add you to Skype, messenger or joining your newsletter list.

The more options you give them of keeping in touch with you, the easier it will become to grow your network on and off Facebook.

Developing long-term relationships with your contact list (and network) will be incredibly rewarding but have patience, successfully building a network from scratch via Facebook is effective but it takes time.

Search & Search Again

Choose your target audience carefully by looking for specific keywords in their profiles, browsing their political views, relationship status or perhaps even their education, depending on the niche markets that you target.

View The Friends Of Your Friends

First, log into your Facebook account and view the current events from those currently on your list. Remember, you can view the “Friends” of your existing contacts and add them to your Facebook contact list as well.

It’s an easy way to grow your list.

If you are looking for people interested in specific things, you can browse available groups and join the ones that focus on your market. Here you will be able to find and add friends who are interested in the same topics that you are.

Develop Advertising Pages For Advertisers

With Facebook being such a large community, it should be no surprise that people are willing (and eager) to pay for good exposure on the Facebook website.

Considering this, an easy way to make money with Facebook is by creating a page built exclusively around a current event or hot topic.

This way, you can generate traffic from Facebook by showcasing this page throughout your profile or by sending it to your contact list.

If you are able to generate a lot of interest (and traffic) to this page you can begin to offer advertising spots to those who would like to feature their product or service on your “Made for Facebook Landing Page”.

To determine what kind of page to create, look at what is currently being discussed or build your page around recent events, celebrity gossip or other topics that appeal to your contact list.

Once you have built your page, you can easily create advertising sponsor boxes throughout your page by installing the “My Stuff” application.

apps.facebook.com/wildfire

This application enables users of Facebook to install any code within your Facebook profile page (or other facebook pages).

After you have installed the application, use a graphic editor program to create an “Advertising Box” (or graphic that simply says “Advertise Here!”. )

Once this is completed, you can begin promoting your new Facebook page.

This is easier to do than you might think. If you are active within forums or external communities, publishing a link to this page or including it within your forum signature may give it a jump-start, or take it a step further and feature the link within blog articles, comment boxes on other publisher pages, etc.

Once you have found an interested advertiser, remember to change the code in your advertising box to feature their website URL, to direct your facebook page visitors there.

Charging a monthly fee for advertising on your page is an instant way to generate passive income on the side!

Remember, you can also choose to advertise on Facebook yourself using the “Facebook Flyers”, the advertising boxes featured throughout the Facebook website.

This is the easiest way to start advertising on a wider scale, with the benefit being that the sponsored listings are designed to look like news feed items, which add to their effectiveness.

Facebook Marketplace

The Facebook Marketplace is a classified ad service available to Facebook members. You can post a “wanted” ad, “For Sale” listing or other type of advertisement at absolutely no cost.

The only time you must pay a fee is if you wish to feature you’re ad across multiple networks ($1.00 per network feature).

The Marketplace will, by default, only show you listings from your current network. To see other listings you will need to change your primary network.

You can choose to list what you are looking for, or list what you have to sell/trade. This is a great way to promote your services, or you can use a different strategy and browse the “Wanted” ads to determine if you can locate and sell items to people who are searching for specific things.

One marketer I know scours the “Wanted” section each day and then checks out sites like eBay to see whether the items in demand are available. He purchases them at a lower price and resells them on the Facebook Marketplace.

While this is definitely nowhere near as lucrative as classified sites such as CraigsList, you can definitely make a bit of money within the Facebook Marketplace as it continues to expand and grow larger in size and popularity.

In the meantime, offering design services, selling domains or flipping websites or offering other ‘digital” based services and products may yield you a few extra bucks.

Every time you place a listing on the Facebook Marketplace, it appears within your profile section, so people visiting your page can see what you are selling or looking for.

Behavioral Interviews – Are You Prepared?

August 29, 2010 by admin

Facing Behavioral Interviewing? Read On…

“The most accurate predictor of future performance is past performance in a similar situation.” That’s the conclusion industrial psychologists came to when developing the behavioral style of interviewing. Many companies use this technique in varying degrees. Instead of asking:

- Tell me about yourself.

- What are your strengths and weaknesses?

- Why are you interested in working for us?

Behavioral interviewing emphasizes past performance and behaviors. Candidates unprepared for this type of interviewing have not fared well. A word to the wise: simply practicing the list of common interview questions isn’t enough.

Why should your prepare for a behavioral interview?

- Candidates who prepare for behavioral interviews also do better in traditional interviews.

- Using behavioral answers works well with inexperienced, traditional interviewers.

- Companies that invest the time and energy to develop behavioral interviews attract top candidates.

How do I prepare for a behavioral interview? Companies that employ behavioral interviewing have predetermined, through detailed analysis, the skill sets they require for a particular position. These skill sets might include decision-making and problem solving, leadership, motivation, communication, interpersonal skills, planning and organization, critical thinking, team building and the ability to influence others. Job seekers also must go through this same detailed analysis process. To do that, you should consider questions such as:

- What are the necessary skills to do this job? Do I possess them?

- What makes a successful candidate? How can I translate my previous successes to this position?

- What would make an unsuccessful candidate? What criteria could eliminate a candidate?

- Why is this position available? Promotion, left the company, expansion?

- What is the most difficult part of this job? Have I handled similar situations and what stories do I have to express my success?

Once you have landed the interview, make your answers and examples detailed and specific. Have a minimum of three stories that clearly demonstrate your abilities in managing situations. The interviewer is listening from the perspective that your past performance is indicative of your future performance.”

The best way to accomplish this is to use the 3C Technique:

1. Circumstance (What was the problem?)

2. Conduct (How did you fix it or how did you get others to fix it?)

3. Conclusion (What was the result?)

For example, you might recount a time when communication within your work group had broken down (circumstance). Organizing lunch meetings designed to open the discussion of issues was a creative step toward resolving the problem. It inspired a more congenial atmosphere and resulted in a better flow of communication. Using this technique can present your accomplishments in a way that sends a powerful message to the employer.

While you can’t control what is asked, you can control what you say. Listen carefully to each question. If you are unsure, ask for clarification. When you respond, be sure to recall your accomplishments in detail. Avoid lengthy rambling and tangents. Practice your behavioral stories using so they sound natural, not rehearsed. No one knows your accomplishments better than you do. Be confident about sharing them, enthusiastic about the results and proud to be able to bring these kinds of successes to a potential employer.

What is a lead generation company? This is a company that teaches you the many different ways to get leads on the internet. The newest concept is attraction marketing. This is where you attract people to you by getting to know them and they will want to know what you do. You do not sell them a product you sell them yourself and they will want to be in business with you. You have to stop and think, if I wanted to join with someone would I join with me. You may have to change your way of thinking.

If you are thinking of becoming a network marketer, you will need to learn lead generation. Once you have gone through your local market, family and friends you will need a new way to get leads. When you get in the right company that has good leadership skills, you will be on the right path. Top leaders are essential to your training. If you are a good salesperson they will untrain you. You are not selling a product or company.

One – The preferred way is article marketing. Do you have a blog? Do you like to write? If not a little training, or a lot, and you will learn to enjoy writing as you gain knowledge. You will be able to share your wisdom with others. There are many article submission services that you can choose from. Also you can have articles written for you if you do not like to write yourself. The personal touch is the best so people will get to know you.

Two – PPC or pay per click is a good way to market, but it can be very expensive. It is one of the quickest ways to get leads. You place ads on google, yahoo, bing, facebook or any service that you choose. A lead generation company will have extensive training for this. There is no shortage of information when you find the right company.

Three – Ezines is another way to get articles and ads published. Ezines is pronounced like magazines just take of the (maga and replace with an e) . These are very effective when set up with the right company. They teach you ad and article writing as you go.
