As I understand it, Mike Dillard is emphasizing the fact that good leadership is priced commodity and if you can give it, then people will flock to you. In MLM, most people are confused as the business system is not easy to build from the start. At the starting stage, people want to be almost held by the hand and led to the next stage. If you lack the skill to help others in that stage then people do not see any point in staying with you or the system you are promoting.

In other words, the only thing of real value is knowledge. A very powerful system will never serve you well if you lack the knowledge to run it. You have to invest in yourself and become a knowledgeable person. When you are among people who do not know, you naturally become the leader. Not because you want to but those around you think you are. When I first joined MLM, I really did not want to understand a lot. I was always looking for the so called turnkey systems that would spit out money at the press of a button.

Well, when I read Mike Dillard’s magnetic sponsoring book, I stopped looking for turnkey systems. I simply cannot let my success depend on somebody else. Even if there is a turnkey system, I have to know something in order for people not to take advantage of me. In the past, I used to be reluctant to buy expensive books but now I buy them as long as I have the money. After all, I want to add value to myself if I want to be successful in the future and create my own wealth. If you leave your success to someone else, you are in for a big surprise. I am glad I read the magnetic sponsoring book and even the free videos can change your life in MLM.
