Time management is the key to success. You need to look out six years and where would you like to be. Picture yourself in that situation and dwell on it for a minute, do not cut yourself short. Then go back to today, what do you need to do today to make this happen. Leadership skills are essential to make this happen. Write it down then it will become real. Do not make this your goal, promise yourself that you will do this. Where you have been does not matter, where you are going really matters.

Write down all of the things that you will achieve, this way you will stay focused on your goals. Do not dwell in the past or you will repeat it. As you make your list of goals, make two columns. The first one write down your big goals. The second one write down your small goals. Then number in order of priority. Then start with the big ones first, if you start with the little ones you will get bogged down in one and not get to the big ones. You will find that doing the big ones first the little ones are completed along the way.

Maintain a positive attitude at all times, take advantage of all opportunities focus on the job at hand. Get into a circle of influence and absorb there leadership skills. You need at least four people for this and you will gain the knowledge to become the middle of the circle. So the better leaders you pick the better leadership you will gain. As you try to understand the big difference between a dream or a goal? A dream is just that, you want it to happen but it seldom does. But a goal if worked right is something that will happen. If you write it down in the form of an afformation. First you write down your goal. Work up a list, write down all of your goals for today, write down all of your goals for a week, write down all of your goals for a month, write down all of your goals for a year, write down all of your goals for five years. On your list put down ten goals for each, then number each goal as to effort it will take to accomplish it. Place the one that is most important or hardest at the top and place the least important or the easiest at the bottom.

Now turn your goal into an afformation. This is a new process in that you write it down in the future. For instance today’s date is 8/21/11 and you want to accomplish your goal within one month. You would write down, “The day is 9/21/11as I sit here at my office I am amazed at how easy it was to accomplish my goal”. This is an example of how to write an afformation.

As you accomplish the larger goals you will find that the smaller one were accomplished along the way. Go to your list daily and write an afformation that is to be done that day. Because a job is not done until the paperwork is finished.

After you have written down your goals, then you write down exactly why you want this. Do you need more money, more love, finical security, etc.. At this time you need to get to work, what do I need to do to accomplish this. All of a sudden things start happening. It takes all of your effort and hard work, because you will succeed.

Over the years we are taught to go to school for 12 to 20 years. Learn the routine get a job and work for the next 40 years at something that you do not like to do in the first place. Barely making enough to live off of, and then retire on half of that. This was the old school. Now with the world economy falling apart there is no more job security.
