How To Grasp Genius Level Creativity

How To Tap Genius Level Creativity

Have you ever had a problem that was so difficult to solve, you almost gave up? Sometimes you’ll wake up in the middle of the night with the answer. Sometimes you’ll hear an old song on the radio, and it will remind you of something, which will remind you of something, else, and pretty soon you’ve got a solution. But wouldn’t it be great if you could get inspiration like this whenever you wanted? Well, you’re in luck, because there is. And you’re about to learn how.

The technique is sometimes referred to as “Borrowed Genius,” and was originally created by Win Wenger, author of “The Einstein Factor.” Basically it involves a unique hallucination. Although some people prefer to see this as tapping into the super conscious brain, to which we all are connected to. Whichever you believe, it will work just fine.

The general idea is to find somebody that knows a lot about this particular problem, and somehow get their opinion on the matter. Napoleon Hill described this method as having several giants from American history over for dinner every Wednesday night. They would discuss problems of the day at length, and Hill would gain valuable ideas. From Hill’s point of view, this was all imaginary, and merely a way of circumventing his brains natural creativity blocks, but others may consider it an honest tapping into the aforementioned super conscious.

You may invite your expert over for dinner, or simply channel them through whatever method you choose. The trick is to pretend with all you might that you are really, in fact, speaking with this expert. The more you really believe this, the better it will work.

You may choose to speak with your expert frequently, and develop a relationship with him or her. This way they will be much more willing to help you, and much more responsive, should the need arise. Nothing is worse than having a pressing problem and having to wait on a tardy imaginary expert.

Another more drastic approach was created by Wenger. This is best done by formulating your problem into a “How can I solve this dilemma,” kind of question. Then with the single question in the forefront of your mind, and then closing your eyes.

Imagine that you see your expert, or genius up ahead. They are facing away from you. Walk up quietly behind them, and when you are standing right behind them, say the question to yourself one more time. Then reach up, and quickly switch heads with them. Quickly ask the question again, and see what answer pops into your borrowed mind, with all the borrowed experience and expertise. Chances are you’ll come up with a doozy that you never would have thought of before.

Keep in mind that there is nothing magical or mystical going on here. You are merely using a self created fantasy to get your creative juices flowing. If it works, then use it. Einstein, as well as other great minds of science are well known for using crazy imaginations to help them come up with their theories. If it worked for them, it can certainly work for you.

How To Get Rid Of Stress Before It Starts

How To Get Rid Of Stress Before It Begins

Stress is the leading cause of many ailments in today’s busy world. Often times we are under a great deal of stress, but don’t realize it until it manifests itself in the form of high blood pressure, headaches, or worse. It can be helpful to have a quit trick handy to defeat stress before it starts.

This is dandy if you are a self employed billionaire and can do whatever you want, but chances are you aren’t. Most of us are just struggling to make ends meet, and have to put up with a lot of aggravation without much choice due to our current situation. What do we do in that situation?

First, it’s important to realize that we don’t ever absolutely have to do something. If you think of terms of doing something because you have to, it can become incredibly stressful. It can help to imagine the ultimate benefit you are going to receive for whatever it is you are doing. You have to withstand the daily rant of your boss so you can get a pocketful of money on Friday. You have to suffer through a long drive every day so you can afford to live where you live. When you train to think in terms of actions and benefits, you start to gain more power over your situation. We aren’t slaves captured and whipped until we drop. We make our choices, we choose our actions, and we have to learn to live with them.

Another idea that can help is that of expectation. When we are filled with expectations, these are translated into “shoulds” of how other people ought to behave, or what we “should” receive. But when we base our expectations only on our experience, and not on some imagined idea of how people should behave in an ideal world, we won’t be disappointed. It also helps to keep this “realistic expectation” as neutral as possible. Don’t expect free candy from everybody you see, but don’t expect that everybody will steal your wallet given half the chance.

One powerful way to build in this positive expectation is to negotiate everything before hand. When your boss gives you a task at work, be very clear what he or she is asking you to do, and get as much clarification as possible. Or when negotiate with yourself before you leave for work in the morning. Decide what time you’ll get there if traffic is light, and what time you’ll get there if traffic is heavy, and how you’ll react either way. That way you won’t be surprised either way.

The largest creator of stress is the feeling that we are not in control and at the mercy of our environment. If we don’t expect anything in particular, or we don’t have a list in our heads of how others should behave, then we won’t be disappointed, and our stress will naturally decrease.

How To Tell If Someone Is Lying To You

How To Tell If He Or She Is Lying To You

Having the ability to tell when somebody is lying is a fantastic skill to have. Some are just naturals at this, but believe it or not, it is a relatively simple skill set to learn. In fact, it is so simple, that by the time you finish reading this article, nobody will ever be able to lie to you again. There are some general ways to tell, and some person specific ways to tell.

The general specific ways are various, and vague. If you can, it helps to look for three or four different indications before you accuse the person of lying outright, or decide not to take them at their word.

Face Touching

When people touch any part of their face while speaking, it can be an indication that they are lying. Usually they will touch their eyes, their nose, or their lips. These are usually rapid, subconscious movements. Be careful, though, as this may also be an indication that they are simply nervous. Another indication of lying is excessive blinking. In general, folks tend to blink more frequently. This happens when they are in a situation where repeated eye touching would be inappropriate. A politician giving a speech, or testifying under oath, for example.

Legs And Arm Crossing

When people cross their legs and their arms, it can be taken as a sign of being defensive. Especially if they are standing, with their legs cross near the ankle, and their arms crossed in front of them. This can be an indication of lying, or it could mean that they find what they are saying extremely distasteful. You’ll need to take the context into consideration.

Eye Contact

When people lie, it is very hard to look somebody else in the eye and keep a straight face, so to speak. In this case, a straight face is when all their facial muscles are relaxed, and not twitching. The best liars can maintain eye contact while speaking right up to the point of lying, and then even they will have to look away briefly.

Calibration

This where you calibrate on an individual basis. This can be done with employees, spouses, children, anybody who you are in a relationship with that you fear may lie in the future. Just pay keen focus on any particular facial movements or body language they show when you are certain they are lying.

Naturally, this mean that you let a few lies slide, but this is a small price to pay for being able to read them like a book. Tells are unconscious body movements and facial tics that card players exhibit when they are bluffing. Once you have three or four “tells” collected, they’ll never be able to lie to you again without you knowing it.

Three Steps For Createing Irresistible Charisma

Three Steps To Create Irresistible Charisma

Have you ever been at a social gathering, when somebody walked into the place and just immediately grabbed everybody’s attention, simply by walking in the place? It was just something about them, they had some kind of magnetic attraction that just pulled everybody’s attention. How would you like to be that person? Believe it or not, it’s easier than you think.

Most people think of charisma as some magical property that people have to be born with. The truth is, charisma is nothing short of a collection of specific behaviors. It’ just that some people have these behaviors naturally, while others have to work at it, Luckily, there’s three ways you can drastically improve your charisma.

1) Slow Movements And Speech

People that are jumpy and nervous aren’t charismatic. People with charisma walk slowly, and speak slowly. Not so slow as to make you fall asleep, but they are definitely not rushed. This is the quiet confidence that speaks much more loudly than hyper active jumping up and down on stage charisma. Also when speaking, people with charisma always pause in certain spots to build up response potential in their listeners.

2) Not Needy Or Dependent On The Responses From Others.

There’s the kind of people that pause immediately after every point or joke to look around to make sure they are getting consistent approval from the crowd. People with charisma are confident in their ideas and opinions, and don’t need to persuade others, and don’t need to get approval. They simply state the way they feel, and leave it at that.

3) Absolutely Congruent

Charismatic people are completely congruent in their model of the world. Their body language, facial expressions, and words all match up. They never say something when they mean something else. They rarely go along with the crowd simply for going along with the crowd. They are genuine in their emotions and their feelings. They never pretend.

Ok, so how do you manifest these behaviors in your own life? Simple. Fake it until you make it. It is a stunning aspect of the human physiological system that form follows function as well as function following form. If you are happy, you smile. But if you smile, you also will become happy. Your body follows your brain just as much as your brain follows your body.

As you try these behaviors on, little by little, they will soon become who you are. It will be you that they all look at when you enter a room or party.
